About Sprout & Bloom

At Sprout & Bloom, we specialise in speech, language, fluency, and feeding difficulties in children from birth to six years old, and dysphagia and voice therapy for adults. The services that we provide are individualised for each client, including assessment, diagnosis, reports, one on one therapy utilising best practice research evidence, home programs, and parent/caregiver education.

For our paediatric clients, our goal is to help every child bloom through a combination of in-clinic treatment and empowering parents to accelerate progress at home. It takes a village to raise a child - we want to be part of yours.

For our adult clients, we aim to improve quality of life by assessing and treating swallowing and voice disorders, with specialist services in the areas of Parkinson’s disease and oncology. We want to empower our clients to find their voice again and find joy in eating and drinking, while balancing the importance of safety and comfort. Our voice services are offered exclusively via telehealth, while our dysphagia services are conducted in clinic.

Our team of speech pathologists are highly qualified, caring, and passionate about improving the lives of their clients. Learn more about who we are and what we do below.

She has had an exciting career in both paediatric and adult speech pathology in the years since, with multiple specialist competencies under her belt. She is currently a Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist in Queensland Health, specialising in complex paediatric dysphagia, including NICU and PICU. Olivia Cullen

Olivia graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the Australian National University, and then went on to complete a Masters in Speech Pathology at Griffith University. She has worked all over Australia, from here in Brisbane, to Far North Queensland, to all the way up in sunny Darwin. Since becoming a mother herself, Olivia has rediscovered her passion for paediatrics, and loves working in the areas of speech, language, and fluency. She is also specialised in adult dysphagia. When she gets a free moment, Olivia loves being in nature, reading piles of new books, and becoming a connoisseur of Brisbane parks with her husband and young daughter.
